The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will be a landmark destination in Los Angeles, offering an immersive exploration of storytelling through its extensive display galleries, theaters, educational facilities, event spaces, and dining areas. At the core of this visionary project is AlfaTech’s cutting-edge Smart Building integration, designed to enhance sustainability, operational efficiency, and user experience. AlfaTech implemented a comprehensive smart building technology network, optimizing energy use, indoor air quality, and occupant comfort through customizable controls and dashboards. Intelligent building features include smart thermostats, automated lighting controls, room schedulers, automatic shades, metering data, and solar PV optimizer feedback. Real-time smart energy monitoring covers HVAC, plug loads, and lighting, while wireless water metering and touchless plumbing fixtures further reduce environmental impact.
To ensure seamless IT-OT coordination, AlfaTech led the integration of smart building systems across a diverse ecosystem of operational technology (OT) vendors, client IT teams, cabling contractors, and construction trades.
