Description
AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for the relocation of Collins Aerospace's testing facility from Brea, CA to Anaheim, CA. The project involved the design of customized test stand rooms with stringent acoustic isolation to achieve a noise level of 30 dBA. This was achieved through the construction of isolated PODs within a high-bay warehouse, ensuring a controlled testing environment. Additionally, AlfaTech played a key role in the renovation of an existing office and warehouse facility, reconfiguring the space to accommodate two separate, wholly-owned subsidiaries. The design incorporated efficient MEP systems to support both the testing facility and the newly configured office and warehouse spaces, optimizing functionality and operational flow.
