Description
AlfaTech is providing multidisciplinary engineering, design team management, and construction support for Crusoe's flagship Stargate AI data center campus in Abilene, Texas. The eight-building, approximately 4 million SF campus is designed to deliver 1.2 GW of capacity for high-density AI infrastructure. The first 206 MW phase became operational in May 2025, with the full campus expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
AlfaTech's services include MEP engineering design, technology and architectural lighting design, Smart Building services, and multidisciplinary design support for the multi-building campus. Working within an accelerated delivery environment, AlfaTech is coordinating complex building systems to support the reliability, scalability, and operational performance required for large-scale AI infrastructure.
The campus incorporates advanced cooling infrastructure designed for high-density AI workloads, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling and rear-door heat exchangers, with flexibility to accommodate air cooling. The liquid-cooling systems use zero-water evaporation technology that continuously recirculates water through a closed-loop system.
AlfaTech also provided enterprise-level Smart Building and IoT cybersecurity services supporting more than 3,000 IP-addressable devices across the campus. The scope included documentation of IoT assets and floor-plan locations, identification of non-compliant devices, coordination of remediation with third-party vendors, and secure onboarding of devices to dedicated IoT VLANs to support operational performance and cybersecurity compliance.
