Description

AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and architectural lighting design services for e.l.f. Cosmetics’ new 17,000 SF Los Angeles office, consolidating multiple locations into a single workplace designed to support collaboration, creativity, and future growth.

The tenant improvement project accommodates approximately 60 employees and includes open workstations, conference rooms, huddle spaces, media production areas, podcast rooms, and product display environments. AlfaTech designed integrated MEP systems to support occupant comfort, operational flexibility, and the specialized needs of a media-driven workplace.

The HVAC system was designed to maintain consistent indoor comfort and air quality across diverse space types, while the electrical infrastructure supports technology, production equipment, and specialty lighting needs. Plumbing systems were designed for employee amenity spaces, including kitchenettes and pantry areas.

AlfaTech’s architectural lighting design enhanced both functionality and aesthetics throughout the workplace, incorporating task, ambient, and specialty lighting solutions tailored for collaboration spaces, studios, and branded content creation environments. The project was delivered in close coordination with Cushman & Wakefield and the broader design team to create a flexible, modern workplace aligned with the client’s brand and operational goals.
