Description

AlfaTech provided full MEP and fire protection engineering services for the renovation and expansion of Workday’s Boulder offices, transforming 28,200 SF across two phases into a modern, flexible workplace. Phase 1 reimagined the 2nd and 3rd floors (13,400 SF) with open offices, conference rooms of various sizes, single- and duo-occupancy pods, wellness and focus spaces, a coffee point, and a new internal staircase connecting both floors to encourage movement and collaboration. Phase 2 expanded improvements across the Ground, 2nd, and 3rd Floors (14,800 SF), adding a refreshed dining area, expanded pantry zones, an AV/IT rack room, game room, additional workstations and meeting rooms, huddle and phone spaces, and a new tech lab and security area.

AlfaTech designed HVAC systems integrated with the existing campus infrastructure, plumbing for domestic water and sanitary waste, electrical distribution with lighting and controls, and fire protection and alarm performance specifications. The team ensured energy code compliance and coordinated closely with structural and architectural partners to deliver a seamless, efficient, and highly functional design.
