Description

AlfaTech has been a long-term engineering partner for AMD, providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services across a range of new construction and renovation projects. These include advanced office spaces, research laboratories, cleanrooms, data centers, and a new 50,000 SF Commons Building. The Commons serves as the central amenity hub for AMD’s consolidated Northern California campus, supporting over 1 million SF of facilities. This key structure houses a large auditorium, expansive cafeteria, fitness center, training and conference rooms, a travel agency, and a company store—designed to enhance workplace experience and employee well-being.

AlfaTech’s work spans across numerous AMD buildings, including lab renovations at MTD and B915, cleanroom and R&D spaces at B926 and B936, and strategic upgrades at Buildings 898, 920, 930, and 950.
